7 DAYS YOGA INTENSIVE - SICILY
Your week of intensive Rocket yoga with Audrey Gordon and Alex Perez
Join us for an intensive training on asana practice, yoga theory, anatomy knowledge and alignment principles. Open to all levels and experience. Each day will have a different theme for you to go deeper, including backbends, arm balances, inversions, strength building and hip and shoulder mobility. Several hours of physical asanas (get ready to sweat!) will be accompanied by posture clinics, open discussions and of course some fun on the island.
Our goal is to see you feel your progress, whether that's physical, mental or spiritual. We wish we could accompany you for every practice in your journey, but we can't. Therefore, this intensive is designed to give you the tools to understand what work you need to do when you aren't being directly guided by a teacher.
THE RETREAT CENTER
La Masseria — a private 19th century farmhouse villa situated in the luscious natural landscape of Southeastern Sicily, surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea and minutes from beautiful beaches and historical sites including Noto, Siracusa, Modica, Scicli and Ibia.
The center includes a fresh water infinity pool, loads of different patios and living spaces, spaces to eat or simply relax, two massage rooms and a stunning sunset terrace.
Free time can be used to walk through plantations of almonds, olives and watermelons fields or cycle on trails amongst the groves. Treat yourself to a massage, swim in the freshwater infinity pool, enjoy the wonderful beaches or Sicilian historical towns nearby.

THE TEACHERS
AUDREY GORDON
She is an RYT 700hr Yoga Instructor and ACE fitness personal trainer. She’s been dedicated to her own daily practice for over 10 years and for the past 6 years she has taught throughout Asia and currently in Geneva, Switzerland. She is passionate about living a life of health, quality movement, personal growth and sharing that with like-minded people. Her classes are dynamic, with the intention to leave students feeling energized, encouraged and also relaxed. She likes to weave a bit of humor into each session, as she always wants to push the limits, but also makes it a point to not take it all too seriously in the end. Her flows work on building strength, flexibility, balance along with playful arm balances and inversions. Meditation and pranayama is also a part of each class for overall well-being of mind, body and spirit.
ALEX PEREZ
Alex was born in Paris and grew up in Geneva, Switzerland. It is only when he left his hometown though, that his true passion was revealed to him.
He discovered yoga in a park in Barcelona, while he was a university exchange student. Since then, his passion for yoga kept growing exponentially, and with it a deep and uncontrollable impulse to teach and share what he considers a form of art.
Since then, Alex embarked on a journey seeking the best teachings, so he could transmit this art of yoga to his students in the most comprehensive and modern way possible. His quest led him to Bali, London, Paris and New York, where he was able to practice and learn with teachers such as Jared McCann, Mathieu Boldron, David Kyle (main figure in Rocket Yoga), Paul Grilley (“father” of Yin yoga) and many others.
Over the course of his apprenticeship, Alex was able to develop his own way of teaching, a non-rigid and modern form of teaching, above all based on a scientific understanding of mouvement and of the body.
Having recently received his medical license, Alex uses his profound anatomical and physiological knowledge to adapt his guidance to the unique physiognomy of each of his students, herewith creating a safe environment for all to freely express their body wisdom through movement.
